Membership Responsibilities
As a community run organisation, we rely on every member of ETP to contribute.
Please make sure that you always tidy up after yourself when using playgroup, which includes:
- Washing and putting away dishes used
- Packing up toys as you play
- Removing paintings to the drying rack, named and dated
- Sweeping or vacuuming when needed
- Ensuring the sandpit is covered when play is finished
- Taking home a load of washing when requested
- Not sharing the door code with others
- Vacuum, sweep or mop
- Clean toys as needed
- Take painting bibs, cleaning sponges and tea towels home to wash and return
- Stock take the craft cupboard and write a list of supplies to buy
- Refill paint pots
- Make playdough or a messy play item
- Fix broken items
- Mend or wash dress ups
- Marketing - distribute posters or flyers in your area, or electronically within your networks, contribute to social media content or
- Consider joining the ETP committee - a casual group of tired parents that oversee the running of the place, and meet quarterly.
In addition, we have infrequent working bees. Many hands make light work, so we ask all members to join to assist on these occasions.For members who feel they are unable to contribute time, there is an additional participating levy that you can nominate to pay instead at the time of membership renewal.
It is also important not to share the door code with others. All current financial members will be sent the code directly via ETP.
